Better today, it was just -3 the chill was -15 ish, but that is safe, more or less. Monday was -10 and the chill was -30. -30 is dangerous even if your used to the cold. I had to wear neoprene chest waders under my jacket and full face mask to clean out the driveway and the path up to the coop before work. Even with that I got nipped a little, it was just swelling no spots. We heat with a wood stove and the house is well insulated so we can keep it toasty inside. My wife homeschools the kids so they they can mostly stay home when it gets this cold. They went to the university for music lessons today and said it was mostly shut down. Spring can’t come soon enough. Nice of you to ask.
