Not at all. I did mechanical engineering specializing in healthcare and education for years. Now I run construction technologies for a contractor. Title is head of Virtual Design and Construction. I do a lot of 3D Scanning, computer models, Cadd stuff, build cool things to help fabrication, integrate new technology etc. I Also do a lot of process and industrial design assist, refineries, test cells, sewer, water, chemical and manufacturing plants. That sort of thing. I is really cool. I get to learn every day, and it’s surprising how similar all the different industrial processes are to each other. I am super lucky to be ably to work on such a wide variation of things within engineering, and with so many bright people.
